🕊️ “Thank you for the trust, for the light, and for the road that continues.”
Dear friends, fellow travellers, and covenant-bearers of LRE - Rinisja,
Today is not an ordinary date on the calendar. It is a day that holds within itself five years of patience, sacrifice, renewal, work, and hope. five years that made possible something larger than any person, stronger than any name: our moral community.
Let me begin with the simplest and hardest word, thank you.
Thank you to Arian Galdini, our Founder, for the first light and for the compass that guides us with calm and character.
Thank you to every member, every volunteer, every citizen who turned trust into act, who learned, through LRE, that true politics is not a contest to dominate but a service that illuminates.
This moment, for me, is neither a personal honour nor an individual victory. It is a new pact with time, to keep dignity alive, to guard the quiet of speech, to turn every idea into deed.
I accept this responsibility with deep humility and a clear conscience.
In a world that demands big words, we will speak with quiet proofs.
In a politics that is measured by wealth, we will measure ourselves by character.
In a society tired of noise, we will cultivate the quiet of work.
This is my pledge: not politics that chases headlines, but politics that builds trust.
We have already weathered the storms of denial, the years of patience, the blurry battles, the blows that tempered us.
Now comes the second season, the season of Rinisja (Renewal), the time when steadiness turns into building, when ideal becomes structure, when character becomes method.
Rinisja is not just a name; it is a philosophy, to begin from truth, to stand with dignity, to act with pledge.
At its foundation stand three pillars to guide each step of the coming decade:
1. Dignity as the foundation of public policy, every reform, every decision, every word weighed on the scale of the human person, not on the impulse of the moment.
2. Work as honour and ethic, an economy measured not only by profits, but by the virtue of what it produces and the ethic of work that raises the dignity of the Albanian family.
3. Trust as our common capital, trust in the state, trust in justice, trust in one another. Without it, any society becomes a set of statistics without a soul.
This is the trinity of our Movement: Dignity. Work. Trust.
This is our model for tomorrow’s Albania, a country where the economy is nourished by character, where the state is measured by care, and where culture becomes the shared law of goodness.
I believe Albania does not suffer from a lack of potential, but from a lack of trust.
We do not suffer from a shortage of resources, but from a shortage of responsibility.
Therefore LRE - Rinisja will build an economy of trust, a politics of maturity, and a state of care.
We will bring to the centre an economy that respects labour, not one that exploits it.
We will develop a tourism that preserves identity, not one that sells its soul.
We will cultivate an education that grows thinking, not one that manufactures grades.
We will shape institutions that speak with citizens, not that speak only to themselves.
On this road, education and ethics, science and service, freedom and responsibility will walk together. The future is not a luxury, it is a duty.
The generation I represent has not come to replace, it has come to build on the foundation.
We will not imitate the past, we will understand it, in order to transcend it.
We will not seek power to be seen, but responsibility to build.
This is the time to show that youth is not a spectacle, but substance, that equality is not a slogan, but competence, that Albania needs not more leaders who speak, but more people who listen, understand, and build.
I know the road is not easy.
There will be days with wind and nights with mist.
Yet whenever the horizon dims, we will return to the light of conscience that LRE lit five years ago.
Conscience does not go out, it ripens.
We will walk with peace, not spite, with wisdom, not haste; with light, not fire.
For our mission is not to echo the world, but to illuminate it.
Today, before you, I accept this duty with humility, not as a title, but as a charge, not as power, but as service.
For true leadership is not at the head of the line, but at the heart of the road.
Thank you for your trust.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of a story that is neither mine nor yours, but the story of the light that gathers us.
And let me close with a sentence that will be our compass for every step ahead:
“We do not prevail because we shout louder.
We prevail because we weigh more justly.”
🇦🇱
